4D cinema all set to take you on rollercoaster ride

Imagine owning your own private cinema screen. It is not just an ordinary cinema, but a 4D cinema with all its special effects and 3D vision.

A 4D cinema incorporates certain amount of visual reality into the experience. Sitting on the rocking chairs, the audience will feel as if they are going through a roller skater, water cannons spraying water during a rain scene or when under a water fall, leg ticklers shock you when a scorpion comes too close on the screen, and back scratchers can even scare the life out of anyone watching a ghost on the 3D screen.

That is exactly what a Chinese company is offering for $10,000 (about Dh37,000). The cinema can be fitted either in your private home or in a theme park. The cinema will even be custom built according to the user’s requirements. “It can even be mounted on the back of a truck and you can take it to different places and conduct shows,” says Marksun, from Guangzhau Senchuang Digital Video Equipment Development Co Ltd told Emirates 24|7 that he has sold more than 100 such units around the world

This YouTube video is exactly what the audience can see and feel.

The company will install the complete kit and even train you to operate the equipment. “We even offer a one year warranty,” says Marksun.

China Sourcing Fair is being held at the Exhibition Hall in the World Trade Centre with hundreds of Chinese manufactures looking for partners and retailers in the region.

Among the other interesting electronic items are tablets with Quad core processors for as low as $100, underwater mobile phones, cushion chairs that can be folded into a bag, 3D printers, custom made USB sticks that can store upto 64GB for just $30 per units and scores of other gadgets.

Deepak Dawar, a businessman from India says he specifically came to the UAE to attend the show.

“It provides a fantastic opportunity to meet Chinese traders,” he says.
