Dubai Taxi and Al Dobowi in Dh8 million tyre deal

Dubai Taxi Corporation(DTC)  has signed a contract with Al Dobowi Tyres Group for the supply of Korean Hankook tyres for a period of two years to the value of Dh8,350,860 in the first year.

Ahmed Khalfan Al Suwaidi, CEO of the Dubai Taxi Corporation, said, "Al Dobowi Tyres Group has been selected after submitting a successful bid for the tender released early this year.

"The tyre plays an important and crucial role in maintaining safety of the vehicle and the passengers. Therefore appropriate tyres have to be selected and maintained regularly, which has been provided for in the contract with Al Dobowi."

Surender Singh Kandhari, Founder and Chairman of Al Dobowi Group, expressed his pleasure at winning the tender and working with DTC for two more years.
