Domestic help broke in to Dubai flat to molest employer’s daughter

The Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance sentenced a domestic servant to one year in jail for molesting a girl of aged 12, after breaking into her parent’s house at Al Rifaa area.

AKN, 29, Indian, who was charged with entering the flat of MB against her will, will be deported after serving his jail term.

MB, 37, Indian, housewife, testified that at 1.20am on May 14, and while she was sleeping in the bedroom with her daughter BF, 11, in her house in the Gold Suq, in Al Rifaa area, she woke up as she felt she heard a person in the room.

“As he saw me he ran away from the flat. I started screaming and called the building’s security who found the flat door open, but nobody was in the flat. I called the police,” she testified.

Her daughter BF, in her testimony, said that she was sleeping in the room with her mother and brother and all of a sudden she felt someone groping her.

“I stood up and saw him. He was a man who I had met once in the building’s lift. He was standing next to the bed. He ran towards the room’s door as I stood up and looked at me before disappearing. I woke up my mom who was sleeping,” she told the prosecutors.

Captain Jafar Ali testified that the flat was open and there were no evidence that force had been used to open it.

The aim of the attacker was not a theft.

A police investigation then led them to the domestic servant, who, at the time denied the accusation.
