Two Pakistanis allegedly used a photocopy of an Omani’s ID to get a car importation certificate, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
The victim, HN, 23, complained to the police that he MK, 51, and HA, 34 used a photocopy of his ID that he had given to them in a previous deal.
HN claims the duo then got a car importation certificate in his name for a car that he does not own.
The traffic department records show a car importation certificate issued in November 2014 in the complainant’s name.
The two investors are accused of forging an official document and using the forgery.
The court will reconvene on December 27.
