Man kills adopted son for 'bed-wetting'

A Saudi man tortured his 5-year-old adopted son to death, saying he only wanted to correct him because of his bed-wetting.

Doctors at hospital in the capital Riyadh said Faisal died of internal hemorrhage, severe head injuries and bad burns and bruises all over his body.

“The man adopted Faisal because he was infertile and had no children. He was charged of beating and torturing the boy to death,” the Arabic language daily Al Saudeh said. “During interrogation, the man claimed that he only wanted to correct Faisal because of his involuntary urination.”
