Man stabs wife, flees, gets hit by car

A Saudi man stabbed his wife to death and fled. Minutes later he was knocked over by a car and rushed to hospital in a serious condition.

The husband used a kitchen knife to stab his wife twice in the belly and waist following a heated argument. She was taken to hospital but died before arrival.

“He fled home after the murder and was seen leaving in a hysterical condition,” Almadina newspaper said in a report from the western town of Makkah.

“After reaching a petrol station, he parked his car and decided to run away…as he crossed over, he was hit by a car and was rushed to hospital in a serious condition…police said he is still in the intensive care unit.”
