A young Saudi man is offering his kidneys for SR300,000 (Dh290,000), saying he needs the money to buy a house for his family given his relatively low wage.
The 21-year-old man made the offer in stickers placed at mosques in the Saudi capital Riyadh and revealed he had already rejected two offers of SR200,000 and SR170,000, according to the Arabic language daily Sharq.
It quoted him as saying he works for a private company in Riyadh for a monthly salary SR3,500 and that his dream is to buy a house for the family.
“The man said he had turned down two offers and will agree to sell his two kidneys for SR300,000 if he receives an offer,” the paper said.
The man did not disclose his name but mentioned his mobile phone number and blood group in the sticker.
