Bollywood actor Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan buried the hatchet and bonded at Mumbai socialites' Christmas party.

A host of Bollywood celebrities took part in the Christmas festivities at the bash hosted by a couple in Mumbai.

Bollywood's reigning superstar Salman Khan, who is riding high on the success of 'Dabangg 2', joined in to celebrate.

Eyebrows were raised when the famous Bachchan couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan also arrived at the party. Ash was her usual smiling self and looked radiant in a black suit.

As per the grapevines Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan's relationship suffered a strain, courtesy Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

At one point of time Salman and Aishwarya was a couple and later Ash dumped Salman alleging him of abuse.

The Bachchans and Khans shared a great rapport long way during Salman's father Salim Khan’s days but Aishwarya’s factor soured their relationship.

However, things are getting better now and now all is well between them.

According to gossips, all seems well between Khan and the Junior Bachchan; this was evident at the Christmas Eve bash.

Sources informed a leading Indian daily that Salman Khan walked into the party with his brothers, quite late at night. Eye witnesses saw Abhishek Bachchan and wife Aishwarya already present at the party.

The Christmas cheer at the party brought about a conversation between Salman and Abhishek. If you are wondering about Ash, no Aishwarya was not a part of this conversation. Reportedly, Aishwarya Rai kept herself aloof from Salman's vicinity.

Salman Khan arrived late night around 2 am and Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arrived around 3 am.

Well, that was certainly a surprise for all the onlookers.

The event was also attended by several celebrities like Gauri Khan who arrived at the party sans husband Shah Rukh Khan.

Karan Johar, Arjun Rampal, Mehr Jesia, Riteish Deshmukh and wife Genelia D'Souza posed for the cameras.

Ranbir Kapoor, cousin Karisma Kapoor, Sussanne Khan Roshan, New mom Twinkle Khanna along with husband Akshay Kumar also attended the party.
