Screen Awards 2014: Bollywood stars dazzle on the red carpet

The star-studded Screen awards turned out to be the one of the most eventful nights of 2014, what with the power-packed performances by the now leading lady of Bollywood - Deepika Padukone and the most wanted singer these days - Honey Singh.

Varun Dhawan also put an energetic performance at the awards ceremony.

While Bipasha was the only one to walk in a royal blue anarkali, almost all the glam divas sizzled in western gowns on the red carpet.

Deepika Padukone was the cynosure of all eyes in a jet black mermaid gown with a hint of gold whereas Sonakshi Sinha stole the thunder in a figure hugging skin tone gown.

Giving the leading ladies a tough competition was Shruti Haasan who made heads turn in a racy sheer gown.

The B-town divas swept the red carpet blue with Sasha Agha, Sonali Bendre and Aditi Rao Hydari joining the league of Bipasha and Shruti in blue.

Matching up with the ladies, Ranveer Singh also stepped out in a blue tuxedo on the red carpet.

The one who made a unique style statement on the red carpet was 'Dedh Ishqiya' actress Huma Qureshi who stole the limelight in a red slit gown complimented with trendy ear cuffs.

While Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave the Screen awards a miss, Amitabh Bachchan with wife Jaya Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan carved out a family picture at the event.

Also spotted on the red carpet were Kajol, Tanisha Mukherjee, Shahid Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar with wife Adhuna, Kalki Koechlin, Karan Johar, Abhay Deol with girlfriend Preeti Desai and many more.

Television actors Mouni Roy, Mohit Raina and Bigg Boss runner up Tanisha Mukherjee also made their presence felt at the star-studded Screen awards.
