After Bieber, Selena Gomez to sing for Dubai

It’s time to ‘Come and Get It’ Dubai fans, as singing sensation Selena Gomez is the latest celebrity to jet into the emirate this month.

The singer has just been confirmed as the latest name to be added to the line-up of Dubai Music Week, which already features Will.I.Am<https://Will.I.Am>, Timbaland and Quincy Jones.

Gomez will be performing on September 27, a day after the Black Eyed Peas frontman, Will.I.Am<https://Will.I.Am>, and mastermind producer and DJ Timbaland will take to the stage at the Arena, Dubai World Trade Centre.

The event, which runs from September 24-29, will also feature thee ‘Emirates World Exclusive Quincy Jones Seminars’, led by celebrities and industry pioneers.

Gomez, who, aside from her music career, is known for her on again, off again romance with tween star Justin Bieber, is expected to fly in from Moscow as she continues her world tour.

Is Bieber expected to follow? Beliebers can only hope.

Meanwhile, on September 24, fans of Michael Jackson’s music will have the opportunity to hear from the multi-Grammy winning production team behind the King of Pop’s record-breaking albums, ‘Off The Wall’, ‘Thriller’ and ‘Bad’.

The team which includes Quincy Jones, Rod Temperton, Bruce Swedien and Siedah Garrett, will give insight into the experience of producing the greatest selling album of all time.

On September 25, Quincy Jones will invite Timbaland and Will.I.Am<https://Will.I.Am> on stage, discuss music production with fans, and launch the first cross-over talent from across the region.
