Rajini has been advised rest after his discharge from the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre at Singapore 10 days ago and the family is by his side ensuring that the rest takes place properly.
In fact, a celebration in the house has also been delayed because Rajni is resting. His son-in-law Dhanush had won the national award for his Tamil film Aadukalam, but then there can be no celebration in the house without Rajni’s presence.
Meanwhile, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi flew off to Singapore to meet Rajini where he is resting on holiday.
Dhanush flew back to Chennai and went off to the Tirumala to offer prayers. He also informed the media outside that, “Rajini Sir will back in India in less than a fortnight and that it will not be long before he gets back to work! Rajni Sir will kickstart ‘Rana’ and gift it to his fans.”

The man who directed all the cellular campaigns with Abhishek Bachchan, making the trees talk and getting three Abhishek Bachchans together to sell a cellular network, Amit Sharma has been rewarded with a film for the Bachchans.
Amit will be directing a film for AB Corp soon. “We will be making the announcement of his debut film soon,” says Sr Bachchan.
Sr Bachchan had done a triple role in 'Mahaan'. Amit got Amitji's son to replicate the 'Mahaan' act. We aren’t sure whether the son will become 'mahaan' because of this, but we are sure that Amit surely got a 'mahaan 'break because of his idea. Incidentally Amit is also called Amitji among his team.
