After all the Eid merriment if you think there is nothing to look forward to in the Emirates than you are wrong.
Bollywood has taken up the responsibility to be at your disposal to entertain you in this lull period.
Fans will get a chance to meet their favourite Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Telegu superstar Illena D’Cruz at the Arabian Centre in Dubai on August 29.
The stars will visit the famous shopping Mall at 6:30 pm on Wednesday.
This will be part of their promotional tour to endorse their upcoming film 'Barfi!'.
Organised by Dream Advertising and Ministry of Events in Dubai this tour will begin with a press conference at Ritz Carlton, DIFC, followed by media house visits and finally a live interaction with the fans in the shopping mall.
The stars will not zoom past through the city but will spend an entire day creating a sense of involvement for Bollywood movie lovers in Dubai.
'Barfi!' is produced by UTV Motion Pictures in association with Ishana Movies. It will open to theatres across UAE on September 13.
Set in the 1970's in a pretty corner of India, 'Barfi!' is the story of three young people who learn that love can neither be defined nor contained by society's norms of normal and abnormal.
Barfi, a hearing and speech impaired boy falls in love with Shruti. In spite of her deep affection for Barfii, Shruti gives into societal and parental pressure to marry a 'normal' man and lead a 'normal' life.
Many years later their paths cross once again when Barfi, now in love with Jhilmil, is on the run from the police. Barfi is desperately seeking Jhilmil, who has gone missing.
Shruti's realization that Jhilmil is mentally-challenged makes her recognize that true love is really blind.
Caught in a cat and mouse game, in the search for the girl Barfi loves, Shruti realizes that she is still in love with him. She must now choose between her happiness and his.
