Kareena's cold war with Hrithik's wife Suzanne

Deepika Padukone can hardly rein in her happiness after the success of 'Cocktail.

The girl has been on cloud nine ever since her performance in 'Cocktail' has got encouraging reviews, both, from fans and critics.

And to celebrate, Deepika hosted a party for the film's cast and crew and a few friends from the industry.

Interestingly the film's male lead, Saif Ali Khan, along with his girlfriend, actress Kareena Kapoor, did not show up at the party.

Incidentally, Saif is also co-producing the movie but skipped the bash. The reason given was his shooting schedule for 'Race 2'.

Apparently, the reason for their absence was Suzanne Roshan (actor Hrithik Roshan's wife).

Suzanne who is very close to Deepika made her dislike for Kareena loud and clear on many occasions, reports Asian Age.

Her dislike for Kareena stems from the rumours of husband Hrithik and Kareena’s torrid affair a decade ago.

These rumours have caused irreparable cracks between Kareena and Suzanne.

So, Kareena and Saif took a call to avoid the party and stay away from Suzanne.

However, the party was well-attended with the host walking in first, followed by Arjun Rampal and wife Mehr Jessia, Anu Dewan, Suzzane Roshan, Diana Penty, Homi Adjania with wife Anaita Adjania, Imitiaz Ali, Salim-Suleiman, Pritam and few others.
