But in case of this Bollywood love triangle between Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, it is the man who is the root cause of a war between the two ladies.

Blame it on Ranbir Kapoor - the two leading actresses of B-Town Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone share cold vibes and prefer to maintain their distance.

It’s a known fact that both Katrina and Deepika are not comfortable in each other’s company. While Deepika is Ranbir's ex-girlfriend, Katrina is his alleged present love interest.

During the opening ceremony at Indian Premier League 6 (IPL) everyone made sure that Deepika and Katrina did not dump into each other.

Both the girls didn't interact with each other and preferred staying aloof. Even when they all took to the stage, Katrina was all by herself. But Shah Rukh Khan played the perfect host and friend. The star was seen making both feel comfortable.

During the practice session, Shah Rukh made it a point to rehearse the steps separately with both the actresses. Even after their performances, Shah Rukh and Deepika were spotted giving bytes together while Katrina opted to do the same separately.

Even Shah Rukh Khan didn't take a chance of any unpleasant exchange between the ladies.

He especially chartered two different flights for Katrina and Deepika when they were Kolkata-bound for IPL opening ceremony.

Shah Rukh got both Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone flown by different chartered flights to avoid any awkwardness between the two.

It’s learnt that since Deepika was busy shooting for 'Ram Leela', she left for Kolkata late in the evening, and her contemporary Katrina, who is currently not shooting for any film, could have taken the same flight. But SRK preferred a separate charter for her.

SRK makes his heroines feel special and does not like any kind of discrimination, so another chartered flight was booked for Katrina.

The Deepika-Katrina cold war dates almost four years back.

In 2008 Ranbir and Deepika acted together in the movie 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' very much in love and screaming about it from the roof top.

Both Ranbir and Deepika splattered their romance at every event. Deepika went ahead to ink it - she got a tattoo of his initials on the nape of her neck.

However, the relationship snapped after two years amidst rumours of infidelity. Why? Katrina Kaif happened!

Katrina, who caused the break-up, met Ranbir on the sets of 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' and their on-again-off-again relationship, took off.
 
Katrina sneaked into Ranbir's life and swept him away from Deepika. Well, you need no more information why the two ladies share cold vibes.
