Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is a busy actor, but he is also an ardent cricket fan.

He is the co-owner of 2012 Indian Premier League Champions Kolkata Knight Riders and his team will be gunning for the trophy during the upcoming Champions League in South Africa.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will take on Delhi Daredevils in the opening Group games at Centurion on October 13.

So Shah Rukh has pre-poned his shooting dates for 'Chennai Express', reports Mid-Day.

He would do anything to be with his team and support the boys.

The film, directed by Rohit Shetty, was earlier supposed to go on the floors in October-end but will now start from September 27.

It is a 20-day schedule and SRK will wrap up work as he wants to be present in South Africa.

After winning this year’s IPL trophy, KKR is the hot favorites to win the Champions League as well.

A massive set will be constructed at Bandra's Mehboob Studio, Mumbai, from September 1 for the film.

Rohit Shetty also gains from his shuffling of dates as his sister is getting married on November 11 and he will get ample time to prepare for the wedding.
