Renowned UK-based Italian interior designer Claudio Celiberti and Italian-born celebrity chef Aldo Zilli last month took wraps off what is being branded as ‘the world’s most expensive kitchen ever created” at the One Mayfair, one of the leading events venues in London.
The price-tag? £1 million (Dh5.9 million).
The kitchen features luxury brand fittings, along with the 27 handcrafted copper-lined cabinets that cost Dh2.4 million. A lot of Murano crystal has been used throughout the kitchen.
Taking more than 12 months to create, the ‘Fiore di Cristallo’ kitchen aims to push the boundaries of what is possible in design thanks to Claudio Celiberti’s no-compromise approach to creating the perfect masterpiece using striking design qualities, exquisite natural materials and fine craftsmanship.
Handcrafted in Italy the opulent kitchen features only the best quality materials including the world famous ‘Crystal of Murano’ (cristallo di Murano). The end result is a kitchen that is not only functional but also a work of art with each cut, component and flourish being nothing short of perfection, even down to the finest detail.
