Aishwarya Rai Bachchan could seriously consider spending 2014 New Year’s Eve in Dubai.
No, not at the record-breaking, spectacular parties that the emirate hosts, but at her own house.
The Bachchans will finally get possession of their palatial house in Jumeirah Golf Estates, the home to Dubai World Championship, before the year-end.
Shaikh Holdings has confirmed it will commence handover of 97 villas in Sanctuary Falls, a villa development in Jumeirah Golf Estates (JGE), in the fourth quarter of 2014.
“Works are progressing at our Sanctuary Falls project. Handovers of the 97-villa luxury community will commence by the fourth quarter of 2014,” the company said in a statement.
Arabtec Construction is building the project, which overlooks the Earth Course in JGE.
Shaikh Holdings launched the final phase of villas in the Sanctuary Falls project in September 2013, with prices for the villas ranging between Dh8.9 million and Dh22 million. Buyers were offered unique payment plan with 40 per cent payable during construction and 60 per cent on completion.
The company statement said that less than 10 villas remained for sale in the project.
The Dh734-million project, launched in July 2007, was planned for completion in 2009.
Each of the homes, according to Shaikh Holdings, comes fitted with a Scavolini designer Kitchen outfitted with Miele appliances, Nolte wardrobes and sanitary ware by Villeroy & Boch.
The family lounge is equipped with Bang & Olufsen Home entertainment system, while the house has an advanced home automation system by Archimedia with concierge service provided by Quintessentially.
