Base jumper's terrifying 1,000-foot fall

A base jumper walked away with just minor scratches after his parachute opened backward, sending him falling 1,000 feet to the ground - and the entire ordeal was caught on video.

A camera attached to Matthew Gough's helmet recorded his fall from the edge of a cliff in Lake Garda, Italy.

Gough, 25, jumped off the cliff and floated briefly before smashing into rocks, bouncing down the cliff and finally landing at the foot of the cliff.
