39-year old Emirati woman killed in car crash, 3 more injured

A 39-year-old Emirati woman died and three others were injured when two vehicles crashed into each other on Tuesday on Al Dhaid-Suhailah Road.

Sharjah Police received information about a serious accident on Al Dhaid road, reports Al Khaleej newspaper.

The Emirati woman was driving her car and was accompanied by a 27-year old woman and a small boy.

The other car which collided with the lady's car was also driven by a 30-year old Emirati.

When police petrol and ambulance rushed to the spot of accident they found the two women and the boy trapped inside the vehicle due to the impact of the collision.

First-aid team which reached the spot hurried to pull all the injured out of the car.

All four were alive and transferred to Al Dhaid General Hospital for medical treatment. They were critical with severe injuries.

The Emirati woman succumbed to her injuries. Others received treatment and are now in stable condition.

It is reported that the accident took place when the woman wanted to overtake the other vehicle in the same lane but failed in her attempt.
