LATEST UPDATE: The death toll in Saturday's fatal accident on Al Ain highway at the junction of Emirates Road in Dubai, has risen from 13 to 15 as two of the 14 injured died in hospital, said Bu Farousha Al Falasi, Head of Dubai Traffic Public Prosecution.
The accident took place at about at 6.25am just before Dubai Outlet Mall.
The bus crashed into the truck , which was parked on the road side, flipped over and moved to at least five meters before coming to a halt.
The truck driver said, “A failure in the brake system forced him to park the truck on the road side.”
The case has been referred to the Dubai Public Prosecution, police said

According to an earlier statement issued by Dubai Police, 10 of the injured were rushed to Rashid Hospital and six others to Al Baraha Hospital. Two of the injured died shortly at the hospital. [WAM]
Four Bangladeshis among dead
Among those killed were four Bangladeshis, the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry has confirmed.
Of the injured, four have been admitted to a local hospital, Director of External Publicity Nripendra Chandra Debnath told bdnews24.com.
It is not yet known which other nationalities were killed or injured in the accident.
The Bangladesh Foreign Ministry has named the four dead as Masum Dhali, 24, son of Ilu Dhali of Chadpur Sadar, Chadpur; Md Badrul Hasan, 35, son of Md Nabial Haque of Sitakunda, Chittagong; Alamgir, 32, son of Badsha Mia of Matlab, Chadpur; and Nazrul Islam, 28, son of Kali Mullah of Jaintapur, Sylhet. Director Debnath said the condition of the three out of four injured and hospitalised was stable while that of Ibrahim Miaji, son of Abdul Khaleque of Chandpur district, was stated to be critical, according to bdnews24.com.
“He is in the intensive care unit,” he said, adding that five injured received first aid and were released from the hospital.
The hospitalised were identified as: ‘Mojib’, 33, son of ‘Mokbul’ of Hajiganj, Chandpur; Abdul Quader, 27, son of Abdul Gahar of Joydebpur, Gazipur; and Abu Taher, son of Nurul Islam of Debiddar, Comilla.

At least 13 workers are feared killed in a fatal crash on Dubai’s Emirates Road on Saturday morning.
According to Dubai Police, the incident happened when a bus carrying 29 workers collided with a truck after the Dubai Club Bridge in the direction of Al Ruwaiyah.
Sixteen men are injured in the accident.
