Dubai’s most dangerous road this year

Emirates Ring Road has seen the most number of accidents out of a total of 1,432 reported in Dubai during the first half of this year.

There have been four fatal accidents on the road. 

The road saw 82 accidents overall, of these, 62 were referred to the Traffic Public Prosecution, while the remaining 20 were classified as traffic violators.

The Dubai–Al Ain road took second spot with three deaths.

Al Barsha junction came in third with two deaths in the first six months of the year.

In terms of total number of accidents, Sheikh Zayed Road saw 77 incidents, 5.38 per cent of the overall accidents caused in the emirate.

Al Etihad Road had 35 accidents, or 2.44 per cent of the overall number accidents.
