Weather in the UAE will continue to remain hot and dusty at times, according to the national weather bureau.

Humidity in coastal areas will increase, reported 'Gulf Today'.

Maximum temperatures on Tuesday are expected to be 46°C in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Al Ain, 45°C in Dubai and 36°C in Fujairah.

Toughest months

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) earlier rated August and September as the toughest months of the year when heat, coupled with high humidity, increase discomfort in the country.

Health experts have advised extra care as the fasting month is underway. Dehydration is a common occurrence, especially when the weather is dry and hot. Those fasting should consume about four litres of water during sohour and iftaar.
