Why you need to stay off Sharjah's King Faisal Street till July 8

The entrance to King Faisal Street, leading to the Central Souq Bridge from the Sharjah Fish Market will be closed from July 1 to July 8.

The announcement was made by the Sharjah Department of Public Works in coordination with the Sharjah Police GHQ.

The department urged motorists to take alternative routes such as King Abdul Aziz Road and the road between the Central Souq buildings in the Al Majaz area The road will be closed for maintenance work, in order to ensure the safety of drivers.

Motorists have been advised to exercise caution during the road closure and follow the speed limit and road signs that have been put up in and around the area.
