Wife killed; Husband, kids survive crash

A 29-year-old Emirati woman was killed after the car she was in collided with a truck near Sih Shuaib in Abu Dhabi.

The woman's husband, three children, an Ethiopian woman and the truck driver were injured in the accident. Abu Dhabi and Dubai police ambulances provided first aid to the injured before taking them to the hospital. Investigations are currently underway on the causes of the accident.

Major General Nasser Likhraibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Deputy Prime Minister & Interior Minister's Office, described the accident as tragic and offered condolences to the family of the Emirati woman.
