Eid Break: Private sector back to work on Sunday

Humaid Mohamed Al Qutami, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Federal Government Human Resources, on Wednesday issued a circular announcing that the federal ministries and public offices will remain closed from October 25 (Thursday) to October 28 (Sunday) for Eid Al Adha holidays.

Work in the government offices will resume on Monday.

Al Qutami congratulated UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, and also praying to God Almighty to bless them with good health and wellness. He also congratulated the people of the UAE and other Islamic nations on this happy occasion.

Eid Al Adha holidays for the private sector will begin on Thursday, October 25, that falls on the Arafat Day and will end on Saturday, October 27, the second day of Eid.

The announcement of the paid holidays came in a ministerial circular issued by Minister of Labour Saqr Ghobash.

Ghobash offered Eid Al Adha greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of emirates, the government, people and residents of UAE, and the Arabs and Muslims across the world.
