Hyena found hanging on Saudi road

Drivers on a Saudi motorway were caught off guard when they came face to face with a dead hyena hanging by a bridge over the busy road.

The hyena was apparently killed by hunters and hanged by the bridge in the Western town of Taif so others will see it, the Saudi daily ‘Sabq’ reported.

“The hunters apparently wanted the others to see that they killed a hyena following a series of incidents involving predators in the area,” the paper said.
