Wife burns home after hubby marries again

A Saudi woman reacted violently by setting her own house on fire when she was told by her husband that he married again and travelled abroad for the honeymoon.

The unnamed mother of six children, who has been married for nearly 10 years, suffered from a nervous breakdown when she received the SMS from her husband.

“She set her house on fire to avenge her husband’s wedding…one of her children suffered from light injuries in the fire which was put out by the civil defence,” Sada newspaper said in a report from the Southern Jazan province.
