Video: Saudi troops in Yemen catch lion

Saudi troops fighting to quell a coup in Yemen had to face a completely different enemy in a rugged area in the conflict-battered Arab country when a lion attacked them.

The trained soldiers, part of an Arab coalition, managed to suppress the lion and catch it before tying it to their tank with a rope.

The Saudi ‘Sada’ newspaper ran a YouTube film showing the lion was tied to the tank but was still trying to break loose and attack the soldiers. It did not mention where in Yemen the lion was caught or what the troops would do with it.
