17-year-old boy marries 71-year-old

A 71-year-old woman has married a 17-year-old boy in Tennessee.

Almeda Errell first met Gary Hardwick at her son’s funeral. Three weeks later, the two were married, reported ‘Metro’.

The mother-of-four was heartbroken after being widowed and losing her eldest son claims she was “searching for a soulmate”.

Meanwhile, Hardwick claims he was unhappy in his relationship with a 77-year-old woman.

The teenager met Errell a second time at a birthday party and they hit it off straight away.

They met each other every night thereafter, and two weeks later Errel accepted Gary’s proposal. Six days later they were married.
