Which Meadows in Dubai is the most popular and why

The Meadows is a very popular villa project by Emaar, but even within the community some sub-communities score more over the others.

Nick Grassick, Sales and Leading Director at Allsopp and Allsopp believes that Meadows 2 -5 are the most popular ones and the once-most popular Meadows 1 has lost its status.

“Meadows 2 -5 [are the most popular] simply for the approach along Meadows Drive, the proximity to the schools and amenities and also for how quiet they are and away from construction sites, i.e. Jumeriah Park and JLT bypass. 

“Whereas Meadows 1 was the most popular, the new bypass has made it noisy and over shadowed, almost exposed,” he told Emirates 24|7. 

“I’ve been living in a rented villa in Meadows 1 for the past three years.

“We loved the place but since all the construction work started it’s been a bit annoying.

“Things are much better now but we are thinking of moving out of the place once the lease expires,” said Sheryl, an expat for the UK.

Some experts on the other hand believe that Meadows 1 has become popular once again after suffering due to construction work. 

“Meadows 1 to 5 have been the most popular due to their easy access to get in and out of Emirates Living onto Sheikh Zayed Road or towards Marina and Beach Road.

“During the road and flyover expansions, Meadows 1 cooled off a little as residents worried about the construction and noise, so Meadows 2, 3, 4 and 5 were most in demand.

“However, the flyover and expanded road access has eased traffic flow in and out of the whole area, giving easy access to schools such as Emirates International School, Dubai British School, Dubai International Academy and Raffles Nursery School, also a draw card for families with children.

“Meadows is a very well established community with parks, pools, recreation facilities, medical centre, retail, supermarkets and mosques all a few minutes away, making it a highly sought after community for all families,” said Sandrine Loureiro, Residential Consultant, JBR Office at Better Homes.

The Meadows is located off of Sheikh Zayed Road's Interchange 5, near Dubai Marina, Dubai Media City and the Emirates Golf Club.

The community shares borders with Jumeirah Islands, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Emirates Hills, and The Springs.
