Dubai World to get new management team

Dubai World is to get a permanent management team to take the group through to the next phase of development.

A media communiqué issued by the Dubai Government Media Office on Wednesday stated that the Supreme Committee set up to supervise Dubai World and its subsidiaries is currently focused on putting in place the new team to run Dubai World.

On the group’s restructuring, the communiqué said Aidan Birkett, Chief Restructuring Officer will be stepping down from his job on October 14 on completion of his assignment.

The government is committed to provide all information to the market while preserving the interests of the company and its subsidiaries, the statement added.
