Singapore’s Crescentrating to participate in ATM 2011
Crescentrating, a Singapore-based company focussed on the development of Halal Friendly Travel market segment worldwide, will participate at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) for the second consecutive year.
ATM 2011, the leading travel exhibition for the Middle East region, will take place on May 2-5 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Crescentrating has been in the forefront of bringing awareness to the travel industry of the fast growing market segment of Halal conscious travellers. According to Fazal Bahardeen, the CEO of Crescentrating, the growth of Muslim travellers will outpace the growth of other travel segments, and by 2020 this segment of travelers will be spending close to $200 billion a year.
“We were very pleased with our presence at the ATM last year. This year our focus is on building partnerships to strengthen our presence locally across the world. With a whole range of products and services that we are planning to launch in the next coming months, we are looking for partners who could work with us to grow this market segment” said Bahardeen.
With its Halal Friendly Rating for Hotels now firmly established, Crescentrating plans to extend its rating services to other services such as theme parks and medical tourism facilities in the next coming months.
