30 cars robbed in one night in Fujairah

Unknown thieves carried out one of the biggest car burglaries in the UAE when they smashed the glass of more than 30 vehicles under the cover of night in Fujeirah and stole items inside.

The thieves targeted cars in Faisal and Mahatta neighborhoods, leaving the cars empty of almost all personal items left inside by their owner. Police said the thieves took money, cash cards, wallets, mobile phones, documents and other items.

“They just smashed the glass of the cars and stole their contents…we have formed a team to search for the culprits and bring them to justice,” Brigadier Mohammed bin Ghanim Al Kaabi, commander of the Fujeirah police, told Alkhaleej newspaper.
