Employee forges NOC to get driving licence
An Indian sales executive, along with an accomplice, allegedly forged a no objection certificate from his employer for obtaining driving licence, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
The company’s manager SJ, 37, Pakistani, was surprised when he learnt that MS had got a driving licence.
“Checking with the RTA, I found out that he had submitted a no objection letter on the company’s letterhead which carried my signature and the company’s stamp,” he said.
The employer lodged a complaint and criminal evidences reported that the manager’s signature and the company’s seal were forged.
MS admitted to the crime and said he had requested his employer to issue him a no objection letter to obtain a driving licence but the latter had refused.
The Court will reconvene June 18.
