Child left alone in flat wanted to jump down

A four-year-old Arab girl went berserk and wanted to jump down from the balcony of her apartment in Kuwait after she was left alone by her family.

Her parents had locked the door and taken the other children to school, leaving the girl alone in the apartment in the capital Kuwait City. Passers-by phoned the police after they saw the screaming girl trying to climb on the balcony to jump.

“Civil defence men found that the girl was in a hysterical case and wanted to jump…they talked and calmed her down while some of them went to the apartment, smashed the door and caught the girl,” Alanba Arabic language daily said, without mentioning which floor the girl lives.
