Aramex opens office in Oman

Aramex yesterday said it has opened a new office in Oman to support the Sultanate's rapidly-growing freight, logistics and international express needs.

Located in the Al Khuwair commercial area of Muscat, next to Nizwa University, the new office will act as the company's main office in Oman, forming an important part of the firm's delivery network.

Having witnessed an increase in volume from major corporate clients, Aramex believes the new office will be well positioned to serve the needs of Muscat's emerging financial industry.

"Our new Muscat office will allow us to meet the growing needs of our customers, build up our infrastructure and human capital as we continue to win major contracts," says Salim Khoury, Aramex Country Manager, Oman.

To support the increased volume of business, Aramex has also boosted its ground fleet in Oman to 25 vehicles that will link through to other key stations across the region. "Aramex is committed to providing our customers in Oman with access to our global transport network and a world-class logistics infrastructure that meets the demands of the country's growing commercial activity," Khoury added.

Overall, the new Oman office will give Aramex the bandwidth to streamline its operations and accommodate a larger number of staff, resulting in more efficient business processes and enhanced productivity, the company said.
