RTA reaches pact with bus drivers

Public Transport Agency at Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) has signed a co-operation agreement with bus drivers of the RTA.

The move is aimed at cementing the links between the agency and bus drivers, which will eventually boost the level of service rendered by drivers to public bus commuters in Dubai.

The agreement was signed on behalf of Public Transport Agency by Eisa Abdul Rahman Al Dosari, CEO of the agency in the presence of Mohammed Hamad bin Fahd, Director of Fleet Drivers Affairs Department, Abdullah Yousef Al Ali, Director of Bus Department. Several employees of the agency and RTA bus drivers also signed the deal.

The agreement comprises two key parts – the duties of the driver towards the RTA, and the duties of the CEO towards the drivers.
