Abu Dhabi invites bids for roads

The Municipality of Abu Dhabi has invited bids for the construction of miscellaneous roads and car parks in the neighbourhood of Abu Dhabi city. Contractors must be classified under the Special Grade in the field of road projects – main road and streets.

Those contractors registered, licensed and operating in other emirates but unclassified in Abu Dhabi have to meet the competency conditions and submit a list of previous projects completed with a valid license. The tender documents can be picked up for a non-refundable cash fee of Dh 5,000. The last date for purchase of the tender documents is June 3 and the bid's opening day is June 7.

Each bid must be accompanied by an initial deposit in the form of a bank guarantee amounting to Dh3 million and valid for acceptance for 120 days from the bids opening date.

The Municipality has announced that it has postponed its tender deadline for the internal roads at Mohammed bin Zayed City Miscellaneous Sectors (Phase II) to May 31.
