Dubai Silicon Oasis issues eight permits

Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, a state-owned technology park, issued eight construction permits to developers last week, Muammar Khaled Al Katheeri, Senior Vice-President at the company said yesterday. Some of the permits were for projects stopped during the global economic crisis that led to a slowdown in Dubai's property market.Dubai Silicon Oasis is building 500 apartments and plans to start construction on a shopping mall in one year, he said.
