Nippon Steel to invest ¥80bn in power plants
Nippon Steel Corp, Japan's largest steelmaker, and its two utility partners will spend about ¥80 billion (Dh3.2bn, $882 million) on power plants in Japan to save energy costs. The power plants will be built at three locations in Japan, Masato Suzuki, a spokesman for Nippon Steel, said yesterday by telephone.
