TDIC invites contractors for headquarters project

Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) has invited contractors to undertake the main contract works for the new Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and TDIC headquarters project located adjacent to Maqta Bridge in Abu Dhabi.

Interested parties can register and obtain a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ)?and collect it before February 18 from the TDIC office.

The project comprises of three inter-linked office buildings of ground plus eight floors, four floors and five floors and three floors of basements car park with a total gross floor area of about 114,000 square metres.

The buildings have been designed to reflect the latest Grade A commercial office standards by integrating new materials and systems not previously used in the region and incorporating sustainability design to achieve a Leed Gold accreditation. The enabling works and basement structural works including ground floor slab are already completed.

Firms must have had a minimum annual turnover of Dh1.5 billion in construction for the past three years, and completed five projects each in excess of Dh750 million in the past three years. A non-returnable payment (in the form of a manager's cheque, made in the name of TDIC) of Dh25,000 will be acquired at the time of collection of the PQQ.
