Capital Park launched in Cairo
Cayan Investment and Development and Egypt-based Dorra Group yesterday launched the Dh1.5-billion Capital Business Park, their first joint project in Sheikh Zayed City in Cairo.
Ahmed Al Hatti, Chairman of Cayan, said: "As a leading property developer with projects in Dubai and Jeddah, we felt it's timely to enter the Egyptian market with a strategic partner such as Dorra Group. Capital Business Park was created to be the first exclusive professional business park in Egypt. Our aim is to present unrivaled facilities in order to attract the most eminent names in the business field."
Omar Dorra, Managing Director of Dorra Group, said: "The project's design, architectural finishing and its trouble-free access points to and from downtown Cairo, makes the Capital Business Park the prime location for any corporate address; the project is designed by Hazel Wong, who has received various international awards for her work."
Capital Business Park tenants will benefit from various deluxe amenities and facilities such as security and surveillance, and concierge and customer service facilities available round the clock. The project consists of seven office buildings, five of which will be six storeys and the rest 18 storeys. Office sizes will range from 200 square metres to 1,000 square metres.
Cayan is a regional player with presence in Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah and now in Cairo with a portfolio of more than $2.5 billion. The company has developed several residential projects in Dubai, namely the recently completed La Residencia Del Mar, Dorrabay and The Jewels at Dubai Marina. It is also developing Cayan Business Centre, a freehold commercial tower in Tecom on Sheikh Zayed Road. In Saudi Arabia, Cayan is developing the Lamar project, a one of its kind seven-star project.
