Sama governor likley to chair GCC central bank

Mohammed Al Jasser, Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (Sama), is the most likely candidate to chair the board of the future central bank of the Gulf Co-operation Council, Asharq Al Awsat reported yesterday, citing officials. The unnamed officials said Al Jasser is likely to be the head because the Gulf central bank will be headquartered in Saudi Arabia.
