At least 12 dead in Nepal bus accident

A bus has reportedly veered off a remote mountain road in west Nepal killing at least 12 and injuring several more.

Government Administrator Balbadra Giri says the bus plunged about 200 metres from the road near Hungasapur village west of the capital Katmandu.

Giri said a rescue team has been sent to the area but details were still sketchy.
