UNB gets office in Shanghai Financial Centre

UNB, the first UAE bank to move to China in 2007, inaugurated its new representative office at the Shanghai World Financial Centre (SWFC) marking a new phase in the bank's growth and development in the world's most populous countries.

The inauguration ceremony of UNB's new office in Shanghai was attended by senior management from UNB as well as SWFC?representatives.

Mohammad Nasr Abdeen, CEO of UNB, said: "Industry specialists cannot ignore the significance of the Chinese economy and its influence worldwide. The Chinese trade exchange volume is becoming increasingly important with its global partners including the UAE, and we expect a substantial increase of trade activities between our two countries.
