Italy's Cannavaro headed for Dubai

Fabio Cannavaro, a former FIFA World Player of the Year, has officially been signed by Dubai-based Al Ahli football club, according to a report in Arabian Business.
Italian captain Cannavaro has played for Napoli, Parma, Inter Milan and Juventus and, prior to signing with Al Ahli, he played for Spain's Real Madrid.
On Sunday a press conference officially announced his appointment as the Al Ahli team captain for next season.
The club’s sporting director, Mark Bell, also confirmed David O'Leary would join the club as coach, adding there would be no further comment about the appointment for now.
