'Waka Waka' gala at Cup finale

Colombian superstar Shakira will share the stage with giant elephant and hippo puppets on Sunday in what organisers have promised will be a stunning closing ceremony ahead of the World Cup final.
The pre-game show will also feature Grammy Award-winning South African vocal group Ladysmith Black Mambazo and a cast of 780 musicians and dancers, organising committee marketing chief Derek Carstens told journalists on Saturday.
Carstens said the show would mix traditional African beats with high-tech special effects and a contemporary vibe.
"We celebrate the traditions of the country in a very modern and youthful and contemporary way," he said.
The ceremony will open with Shakira's "Waka Waka", the official World Cup song, then feature a wildlife-themed song from Ladysmith Black Mambazo before wrapping with an ensemble dance sequence.
Organisers estimate the show, which kicks off at 1630 GMT ahead of the 1830 GMT championship match between the Netherlands and Spain, will be watched by more than 500 million viewers around the world.
