Fardeen Khan's sister killed in car crash

Actor Fardeen Khan's sister Sonia Sethia died in a car accident on August Kranti Marg in south Delhi early on Monday. The police sources say that the 48-year old wife of businessman Rajendra Sethia had gone to a dinner party at her friends house, when she met with the accident.

According to the police's reports, Sonia Sethia had gone to a friend’s house in Gulmohar Park for dinner on Sunday night. While on her way back home in her friend’s Honda City car, she was sitting in the rear of the car. As soon as the car reached August Kranti Marg, a Swift Dzire car banged into her car from behind.

Sonia Sethia and two other persons named Mohan Kumar and Anjay Kumar, who were on the front seat of the Swift Dzire, were seriously injured in the incident and they were immediately taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences trauma centre where doctors declared Sonia Sethia and Mohan Kumar brought dead, reports Zee news.

However, Sonia's husband Rajendra was not present in the city on Sunday. Fardeen Khan rushed to AIIMS trauma centre mortuary, where her body was handed over to the family after post-mortem. Khan attended Sonia’s funeral at Lodhi Colony crematorium.
