Richard Burton love note is buried with Liz

Dame Elizabeth Taylor was buried with a secret love letter written by ex-hubby RICHARD BURTON three days before his death, it was claimed recently.

The screen queen, who died last Wednesday aged 79, kept it by her bedside for 27 years and refused to show it to biographers.

She would only say the note - written by Burton, 58, in 1984 - contained a "heartbreaking affirmation of love" from the man she twice divorced.

Liz told biographer SAM KASHNER: "He told me what he wanted. Home was where Elizabeth was, and he wanted to come home."

The actress was buried in Glendale, California, on Thursday.
