Junaid Jamshed to unveil 2012 collection

Former Pakistani singer Junaid Jamshed’s 2012 lawn collections will be unveiled at its outlets across the UAE next month.

The exhibition is scheduled to be held from March 1 to 3 at designer’s J Dot outlets in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Lawn is a distinct light weight fabric known for its soothing properties which makes it the perfect wear for the summers in UAE.

With 55 fascinating prints to choose from, the collection is a unique blend of soft and bright hues, fascinating patterns and swirly prints. The exhibition will showcase beautifully designed clothes inspired through nature, colours seasons and art forms creating style statements by making use of traditional Indian motifs, intricate Gujarati embroidery, Kalaashi pattern inspired by mountainous people of Kalaash, ancient Morrocan embroidery, Rajasthan’s mirror work , Sindhi patchwork, aboriginal design, elaborate ornamentation in Baroque style, traditional folk motifs, Ikkat pattern and much more..
